Holiday cottage "casa das ovelhas"

When we bought the House this was the sheep barn ... but even then I could see the potential of this building, because of its location behind the large fig tree and the wonderful view over the valley from here.
At the beginning of 2016 we have rebuilt this barn into a holiday home.
Which turned out even better that i had in mind!
The house has beautiful old details and walls of natural stone and wood.
But due to the large window and the beautiful colorscheme used it feels bright and modern.
For the days when the sun doesn't show it self there is a woodburner.
Notting beats sitting by the woodburner by the window with a cup of tea and a good book.
On sunny days the best spot is on the lounge area outside.

The House has has 6 beds, has a spacious well-equipped kitchen and dining area, and a private terrace.
It is just as perfect for a larger family with kids as it is cosy for only a couple!

The casa das ovelhas has a fully equiped kitchen with ceramic hob, microwave, grill, coffee maker and kettle.
There is sufficient cutlery and crockery for 6 people

Next to the kitchen is the dining table with a nice view over the Woods and Valley.
Here the sun enteres beautifully. and for the colder days there is a woodburner.

The open living space has a comfortable spacious bed, with the possibly to be converted into two single beds.Up from this area there is also a mezzanine with sleeping area for two.

Children have their own cozy bedroom with a bunk bed, and a baby-toddler cot.
There is also a mazzanine in the main area with an extra 2 sleeping spaces.

Of course, the holiday house has a bathroom that totally fits the atmosphere of the House, with Portuguese tiles, a natural stone sink, a comfy shower and plenty of storage space

Outdoor dining with a beautiful view over a sea of green, sheltered on the sofa to read a book, or to gaze upon the stars at night. There is also a barbecue available
